Bradd Peacock

Bradd Peacock has had a knack for music since he was a child. From playing the drums with wooden spoons and whatever else he could find in the kitchen, to topping charts, Bradd is a local talent to watch.
 
The self-taught musician played the drums for his church band from a young age, and only moved onto singing and producing more recently.
 
His solo debut ‘Prtty Grl’ came out in January 2021, after which it stayed on the Good Hope FM Top 10 for 9 weeks straight! Bradd says he chose to leave out the vowels in the title as an homage to Mxit spelling.
 
His most recent single ‘With You’ is a collaboration with JANE, who is no stranger to Afternoon Express. Bradd and JANE met when they both attended the Cape Music Institute. After its release, ‘With You’ rose to the position of number 1 on the Top 10 on two of Cape Town’s biggest radio stations.
 
Bradd also moonlights as a DJ. He got married recently, in March.
