Bokang “Little Giant” Masunyane is a top-ranked South African flyweight. Born into a tough environment, he began wrestling at the age of seven, as his small frame limited his opportunities in other sports. He soon started taking wrestling seriously and started competing at the elite level. 
 
After receiving a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games, he made he mixed martial arts debut in 2015. He won six events in one year and received two regional titles. This was the start to his professional MMA career but unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury that put him out for most of 2018. 
 
After his recovery, he returned to MMA and signed with ONE Championship.
