Belly Dancer and Founder of the Al Masrah Academy

 
We shake things up with a Turkish Belly Dancing performance by Beverli Joffi in anticipation of SABC 3's new social drama 'The Red Room'.
 
Al-Masrah Academy is the school for Classical Eastern Dance and Yoga. The academy was founded in 2012 by Beverli, who is a triple qualified Yogi that has spent over three decades in dance theatre with deep studies Eastern traditions and practices through apprenticeships and formal classes.
 
She has worked with multiple renowned musicians in the UK, having been a soloist for the 50-piece London gypsy orchestra for 2 years.  She has also delivered three one-women productions and spent five years on the Planet Egypt team.
 
The academy offers fully online classes that provide individuals with the opportunity to develop a path in traditional Eastern Arts.
