Basetsana Khumalo Gracing the cover of Destiny Magazine May issue 2017, is the fabulous Basetsana Kumalo and her sister Johanna Mukoki. This is what Basetsana had to say about the cover.

"Over the years I have had many wonderful opportunities to grace covers of magazines.None, however, is more special than to be on the cover of the May issue of DESTINY with my sister Johanna Mukoki. My Mother's child. This issue has me all nostalgic and even melancholic to a point reminding me of our parents who instilled in us many values, including of hard work, tenacity, daring to dream, self-belief, prayer, family, and love. I would like to believe they are smiling from heaven at their selfless efforts in shaping us. Creating a generational legacy starts from committed parents who want a better life for their offspring and it is that inherent ethos that inspires my sister and I to pay it forward and to use Khanyi Dhlomo motto to "Positively Impact Lives." We as a people and a nation have a collective responsibility to lift as we rise, to re-write the narrative about black excellence and generational success so that future generations can have a blueprint of seeing it,  touching it and experiencing it. This I believe will serve as a reflection and mirror of themselves to do bigger and better. They will not be confined to a narrow vision of their destiny. They will break the mould, challenge the status quo and own their own future.
To you Khanyi Dhlomo and #TeamNdalo thank you for the incredible opportunity to reflect on our journey and in the process hope to inspire a new generation of leaders. Siyabonga Sisi. Love and light always".
