Athalia More
Joining us in studio today is rising star - artist, vocalist and songwriter Athalia More.
Athalia released her debut single “Uyangithanda” in March 2019 but has been performing and building a name for herself in the music industry since 2015.
Athalia believes she expresses herself through her music, sharing her stories and journey and using it as a way of connecting and communicating with others. She loves to sing songs from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s but has enhanced her vocal capacity and tone by singing different genres.
Born and raised in the streets of Limpopo, Athalia’s journey started at a very young age with her singing in school and church choirs. She enjoyed singing so much that she would compete in school competitions as a solo artist and would often take first position.
When she’s not performing the songstress studies part time at Wits University, where she’s completing her other Bcom degree. She also works as a teacher.
