AFI's Sihle Majola & Lorato Liphuko
This year African Fashion International (AFI) will feature hybrid shows which are part digital and part physical to restrict seating capacity and observe Covid-19 protocol.
The theme for this year's event is Reset, Reimagine, Reinvent - the inspiration for how Hybrid AFI Fashion Week will RESET the runway to locations rich in storytelling, REIMAGINE the fashion industry for this digital era, and REINVENT the way we connect with designers.
The support of this showcase fuels a movement for localisation that contributes to job creation, cultural unity and economic growth. With local designers including David Tlale, Gavin Rajah, Imprint, Urban Zulu and K Moraba & Collective being just come of the brands who will be showcasing their Spring/Summer 2021 collections.
AFI Designer Programme Manager Lorato Liphuko and eCommerce Manager Sihle Majola join us to share all about this year's Fashion Week Joburg Virtual Showcase which is set to take place from 12 November 2020.
