Ciao Bella! It’s Pasta Week on Afternoon Express and we’re celebrating all things Italian. We’re joined in studio by Medical Doctor, Cancer Survivor and Social Media Personality Michele Vanzaghi.
Flour and eggs and a little bit of love is all you need to make pasta from scratch. Get ready to roll as our chefs and Michele show you how to make and store your very own homemade pasta!

Next on the menu, we have a lactose-free Traditional Ham and Mushroom Alfredo. Pro tip: Before draining your pasta, reserve about ½ cup of pasta water to add to your sauce. The starches in the pasta water will help thicken your sauce.
Have you ever tried pasta for dessert? This Sweet Vermicelli Dessert with Almonds & Pistachios is commonly enjoyed in India and Pakistan. Vermicelli is a traditional type of pasta, similar to spaghetti. It’s referred to as ‘angel hair’ pasta in certain regions.
