Radlyn Naidoo, Shady-Lee Dreyer, Dr Alison Richardson

29 July 2020

It’s Wellness Wednesday on Afternoon Express and we continue to learn and grow.

We meet 23 year old graduate from Pretoria University, Radlyn Naidoo who has lived with Tourette's syndrome from the age of 9. He talks about the amount of stress, anxiety and bullying he went through because a lot of people didn’t really understand what Tourette's syndrome looked like. Also giving us some insight is Shady-Lee Dreyer whose 12 year old son, Blake was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome at the age of 8.

Dr Alison Richardson help us understand the medical conditions behind Tourette's syndrome and Dr Jaco Rossouw chats to us about cognitive behavioural therapy and how it helps with Tourette's syndrome.

Give your midweek dinners a refreshing twist with a Jenny Morris specialty, Crumbed Chicken with Clover Classic. Get the recipe on www.afternoonexpress.co.za/recipes
