Jamming with Jade De Waal

We have a delightful show today with Food Jam’s Jade De Waal joining us once again in our kitchen for an exciting masterclass centred around fruity-goodness.
 
Jade is a familiar face who first began charming South African audiences with her zany dishes and bubbly personality in the first season of MasterChef SA. The multi-talented cook and saxophonist credits her Afrikaans background as a big influence on her family-orientated cooking and warm way of life.
 
In the kitchen today, Chef Tumi is serving us fruity-deliciousness with Muesli Tart Cups, Deep Fried Avo Fries, and Citrus Tarte Tatin as a sweet treat to top it off. Let’s jam with Tumi and Jade!
 
We also have Ali Sablay, the Project Manager of Gift of the Givers, joining us in the studio to speak about the relief for the KwaZulu-Natal floods and what we can do to help. So far, Gift of the Givers has already raised over R300 000 in donations for the cause.
 
Lastly, we are joined by Chebet Chikumbu, the Regional Director for Southern and East Africa at Global Citizen, to talk about their new campaign ‘End Extreme Poverty NOW’.
