Episode 85 • 1 September 2015
Legendary jazz performer Dorothy Masuka and businessman Allan Hirsch visit the loft.
Spring has sprung in the loft as we welcome our first episode for September. In the loft today, we're incredibly privileged to have the legend herself Dorothy Masuka who will be performing as well. Masuka is one of the most recognizable jazz performers in South Africa and had a surge of popularity in the 1950s. She talks about her career as well as experience in political activity.
Also on the show, we speak to Allan Hirsch - the husband Margaret Hirsch - on how he started Hirsch's Homestore from his home in Durban, in the kitchen we create a rump steak taco, and Eco Diva Nicole Sherwin is in the loft talking about how her products and tips can help you live the sustainable lifestyle.
