Episode 83 • 28 August 2015
Candy Mokwena, Nomzamo Mbatha and Lee-Ann van Rooi visit the loft today.
Having written songs for some of the biggest names in the local music industry, Candy Mokwena has certainly made a name for herself not just as a singer, but as one of the most loved songwriters of our time. She'll be performing at the end of the show as well.
Lee Ann Van Rooi has for the last 18 years made waves across the film, stage and TV industry - both locally and internationally - and is best known for her appearance as Rochelle on the popular Cape Town-based sitcom "Fishy Feshuns" which ran from 1999-2004.
Our third guest - yes, there's a third - is television and film actress Nomzamo Mbatha who will chat to us about her on-and-off again relationship with Maps Maponyane, who she coincidently co-stars along with in the new "Tell Me Sweet Something" film out soon.
Also on the show, Claire is in the kitchen putting a spin on a South African favourite by spicing it up to create Mexican Mielies, Spine Road High students Mumtazz and Alex are our youngest ever guests as they talk about their involvement in the Junior Achievers SA program for budding young entrepreneurs and they get involved in a fun Lindt-filled quiz game with Lee Ann and Candy.
