Episode 77 • 18 August 2015
Entrepreneurship is the theme today with guests Refiloe Seseane and Bheki Kunene
With nothing but R600, living under his mother's roof and a troubled past as a teenager, Bheki Kunene went from barely surviving in Khayelitsha to operating an international creative agency - all under the age of 30. We hear from him, how he made his success and what it takes to grow a business from nothing.
Refiloe Seseane is an actress you may have seen on Generations. But beyond that she is an advocate for empowering women in business. She founded 18Twenty8, a mentorship program through the Big Sister Network, a platform where educated, professional women who are established can mentor one or more of little girls.
Also on the show today, we feature Léanne Keet of Masikhule ECD Center in the Helderberg area, make homemade marshmallows, see what happens when we divert clay and rubble from landfills and show you a loadshedding-friendly fried rice recipe.
