Episode 57 • 21 July 2015
On the show today are comedian Kagiso Lediga and ice swimmer and motivational speaker Ryan Stramrood.
It's the middle of winter and temperatures have been really cold, but in the loft today is a man who loves nothing more than surrounding himself in even colder conditions - ice swimmer Ryan Stramrood, who travels the globe in search of the coldest waters and breaking records at the same time.
Also in the loft is funnyman Kagiso Lediga, who is often considered one of the pioneers of black comedy in South Africa. He's appeared in venues across the country and internatioanally including marquee events such as the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
Dr Sindi van Zyl is in the loft as part of our First Women series, brought to you by First For Women. She provides ongoing support and health-care education to those in desperate need of it and uses social media as a driving force behind getting information out to the people. Oliver Brain is also with us discussing his initiative called "Street Sleeper" which turns PVC billboards into sleeping bags for the homeless.
In the kitchen, if you're fishing for dinner ideas we've got fish tacos on the menu and for dessert a granadilla and lemon loaf cake.
