Radio personality DJ Fresh and Afrikaans music star Kurt Darren are in the loft today.
Fresh is one of South Africa's biggest house music acts and is often described as having revolutionized the genre in the late 1990s. He has been on radio for close to 20 years, starting out on YFM in 1997 before finding his home on 5FM where he hosted the Fresh Drive afternoon show but now does The Breakfast Show.
Kurt Darren, the Prince of Afrikaans music, is also in the loft today and will be performing for us as well. Starting out initially as an English-language artist in the mid-1990s, Kurt now primarily writes and performs in his native Afrikaans but has fans across all languages. Releasing over 21 albums and DVDs over his career, Kurt Darren has solidified himself as one of the premiere South African musicians.
