Our two guests Cathy Specific and Reactagirl put on a unique show.
Cathy Specific is a cabaret show host, well known for her stints with Madame Zingara. With the flight attendant look, she has appeared on cabaret and stage shows across South Africa. Our second guest is Jade Neebe, better known as Reactagirl, a DJ who uses an innovative instrument called a reactable to create electronic music. The two of them - with lifestyles and genres that are worlds apart - will collaborate on a showstopping performance only seen on Afternoon Express.
If you thought that was sweet, there will be two features in our kitchen that will probably land you in the dentist's chair just by watching them. The first sees us put a spin on a traditional South African dessert as we create a clemengold malva pudding. The sweetness doesn't stop there as we have invited Dimo Simatos - Cape Town head Lindt chocolatier - who will show off Lindt's new "CREATIONS" range and whip up a white chocolate créme brulee.
