Episode 37
Today we tickle your funny bones with guests Loyiso Gola and Irit Noble.
Loyiso Gola first appeared on our screens in 2002 as part of The Phat Joe show on SABC1. He has since gone on to do several stand-up shows worldwide and currently has his own news satire show. Loyiso was recently asked to make regular appearances on Australian news satire show The Weekly with Charlie Pickering as an international correspondent.
Our next guest is one of South Africa’s top cabaret performers, going through a range of talents from dancer, to inspirational speaker, to comedian and going around to Cabaret dancer again. She’s the woman with a plan and diamonds in her hand; she’s the great Irit Noble.
Also on the show, we talk about everyone's favourite subject - loadshedding - by exploring ways of being loadshedding-smart this winter. We also look at how loadshedding affects businesses. In the kicthen, Marli makes use of orange, naartjie, lemon, lime and grapefruit along with everyone's favourite weakness to create a delectable citrus chocolate tart.
