This Youth Day, we chat to Buti Manamela and Refiloe Seseane.
Today is a very special day in South Africa. 40 years ago on this very day, students gathered in Vilakazi Street to protest language policies at schools when the police opened fire on them. We went to Pretoria to speak to Deputy Minister to the Presidency Buti Manamela about the significance and impact of Youth Day in South Africa.
Jeannie's favourite woman crush, Refiloe Seseane returns to the Afternoon Express loft to talk about the importance of education and offers advice to those who are not certain of what to expect after studies are over.
Also on the show, Trevor King of Caesarstone fills us in on bathroom trends, and in the kitchen,Clem lines up the ultimate snack platter and treats us to soul food in the form of chicken and waffles.
