We celebrate Indian culture on today's Afternoon Express.
Today we’re taking a trip to the magical distant land of India. We’re joined by the lead in a stage production called Mystic India, which is about to tour South Africa, and features 22 talented artists and 750 wardrobe changes. We’re also joined by Sarvashen, a young artist who is an expert in traditional Indian dance and he’ll be teaching us a bit more about this ancient culture.
We stop off in the East African country of Kenya and are very excited to have Alisha Popat in the loft. She’s a world-renowned Kenyan singer/songwriter and will perform live.
In the kitchen, we're cooking an Indian paneer curry.
We marveled at all things in the Indian culture today, but couldn't help noticing how beautiful our presenters looked! 🔥
