Episode 212 • 5 April 2016
Women in sport is the focus of today's show.
First up we have the captain of the Proteas Women’s Cricket Team, Mignon du Preez. She’s just recently come back from the T20 World Cup in India. And from experience to youth, we also have young girl, Christine Tomlinson, who is only 13 years old and already making waves in the cricketing world by competing at under-19 level.
Then we’re catching up with a 17-year-old, Natasha Rugani, who competes in Motocross and long distance off-road motorbike races.
We also take a trip to Joburg to meet up with Mixed Martial Arts Fighter, Danella Elliasov, who is the first SA women to be signed up for the extreme fighting championships.
And, with today being all about sports, we’ll show you what went down recently at our Diner’s Club Golfing experience, where 21 viewers were treated to a luxurious day at the top golf course in the country. We were there ourselves and I can honestly say it was an awesome day out.
