Easter with the Waterfront Theatre School
Thursday 6 April
The Easter festivities are continuing full steam ahead in the loft!
We’re joined by four talented students from the Waterfront Theatre School who dazzle us with a song and dance. Kendra Barrow, Tshepisho Mothapo and Manu Pieterse perform a trio dance of Liza Minelli’s ‘Walking Papers’ from the musical ‘The Act’, and James Ford sings ‘Santa Fe’ from the musical ‘Newsies’.
On social media we want to hear from you, what are you most looking forward to this weekend?
Chef Tumi kicks us off with a Family Style Whole Roasted Chicken, serve it with roasted veg and hot cross buns and you have an easy Easter feast! Pro tip: remember to let the chicken rest for about 15-20 minutes before carving.
Have some fun this Easter by making our adorable Easter Bunny Flapjacks, they’re sure to put a smile on everyone’s faces.
Easter in South Africa would not be complete without pickled fish on Good Friday. Take note, pickled fish is best served a few days after it has been prepared.
The hunt for the Lindt Gold Bunny is still on, and if you haven’t already seen it, you still have until the end of the show to spot it and win with Lindt this Easter!
Jay shows us how to make our tables magical for Easter with an adorable Bunny Napkin tutorial and Foam Cup Bunnies.
For dessert, try our Easter Cupcake Nests. Chocolate on the inside and outside, topped with decadent Easter treats – your kids will love these.
