Warm winter malva layered trifle
X1 Woolworth ready to eat Malva pudding
X1 pack Woolworths Forelle pears, peeled and cut into quarters
2 T brown sugar
For brandy-roasted pears, preheat oven to 180C. Stir pears with sugar, brandy, and orange rind and juice in a bowl to coat evenly. Spread in a greased roasting pan just large enough to hold pears in a single layer and roast on top rack of oven until tender and slightly caramelised (15-20 minutes).
In a dessert glass,layer the malva, roasted pears and custard. Keep layering until the serving glass is filled and top with ice cream.
