
Tammy Fry’s Asian Inspired Big Fry Burgers

Ingredients
2 Big Fry Burgers, defrosted
30ml oil for frying
2 fresh buns
For the chilli garlic mayo
¼ cup vegan mayo
2 cloves garlic, diced
1 tsp chilli sauce ( optional )
For the sauce
¼ cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
½ tbsp lime juice
For the Asian Slaw
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup matchstick / julienne carrots
2 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp lime juice
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp sesame oil
Cooking Instructions
For the mayo, whisk together the ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. To make the sauce, whisk the sauce ingredients together in a separate bowl, and set aside.
To make the slaw, simply toss together all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and refrigerate until use.
For the burgers, heat the oil on high in a non-stick pan. Add the defrosted Big Fry burgers and reduce to medium heat. Fry for 9 minutes, turning occasionally.
To assemble, spread the chilli garlic mayo on each side of your cut buns. Add the Big Fry Patty, followed by a big dollop of sauce, and finished with a generous handful of crunchy Asian slaw.
Add the burger tops, and DIG IN!
Chefs Notes
Make sure your Big Fry burger patties are completely defrosted before cooking.
Feel free to add extra garnish like lettuce, tomato, cucumber, gherkins, or even chili for a kick!
