Sticky Pork Ribs

Sticky ribs on Afternoon Express with Selati

Sticky Pork Ribs

1kg Pork ribs 
20ml sesame oil
1 Table spoon grated Ginger
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon chopped chilli (depends on the heat of the chillies)
80ml Soy sauce
100ml water
Juice of half a lemon
1 Teaspoon butter
150ml Selati Muscavado sugar
10ml toasted sesame seeds 
2 spring onion sliced into rings
1 corn on the cob
Coriander for garnish

Boil the ribs for 1hour or until the meat is soft.
Lightly brown the ribs in a hot pan with sesame oil, chilli, garlic and ginger.  Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Add the soy, lemon and sugar
Cook for 5min or until the sauce has thickened and become sticky.
Add the butter
Serve in a bowl, sprinkle with sesame, spring onion, corn and garnish with coriander

For best results, use Selati!
