Salami Cheeza

Serves 2
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 1 minute
 
Ingredients
2 slices rye bread or bread of your choice
Topping
1 cup (or more) grated Clover Cheddar
4 Tbsp Clover Classic mayonnaise 
1 spring onion (green and white parts), finely chopped
1/2 cup diced salami
smoked paprika (optional) 
 
Method
In a bowl, mix the cheese, mayo, salami and spring onion well.
Spoon half the mixture onto each slice and spread as evenly as possible, ensuring that you cover the bread right to the edges.  Place the slices on individual plates and microwave separately for 1 minute each on high, or until the cheese in the centre starts to melt. Or put under the grill of the oven until bubbling away. 
 
 
Mzanzi Cheeza

Ingredients
2 slices rye bread or bread of your choice
Topping
1 cup (or more) grated Clover Tussers 
4 Tbsp Clover Classic mayonnaise 
3 tbsp green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp of chakalaka 
1 long piece of cooked boerewors, cut into bite size pieces
 
Method
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the boerewors together.
Spoon half the mixture onto each slice and spread as evenly as possible, ensuring that you cover the bread right to the edges.  Lastly, add the boerewors. Place the slices on individual plates and microwave separately for 1 minute each on high, or until the cheese in the centre starts to melt. Or put under the grill of the oven until bubbling away. 
 
Vegetarian Cheeza

Cooking time: 1 minute
 
Ingredients
2 slices rye bread or bread of your choice
Topping
1 cup (or more) grated mixed Clover Tussers and Clover Cheddar cheese
4 Tbsp Clover Classic mayonnaise 
1 Tbsp green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp red pepper, chopped
1 red spring onion, chopped
1 splash of hot sauce (green or red)
pinch of cumin
pinch of fennel 
baby tomatoes (optional)
 
 
Method
In a bowl, mix everything together except the tomatoes.
Spoon half the mixture onto each slice and spread as evenly as possible, ensuring that you cover the bread right to the edges.  Add the tomatoes, Place the slices on individual plates and microwave separately for 1 minute each on high, or until the cheese in the centre starts to melt. Or put under the grill of the oven until bubbling away.
