
Pepper Prawn Fry with Basmati Rice

Ingredients
500g if queen prawns deveined and shelled
Dry roast and grind: 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 tsp coriander seeds, 1 tbs black peppercorns, 1/4 tsp fennel seeds
2 tbs oil (sunflower or coconut)
1 cinnamon stick
2 cloves
2 dry red chilies
1 red onion finely chopped
1 tbs ginger paste
1 tbs garlic garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 green chilies
10 curry leaves
Method
Heat oil and add whole spices. Fry till aromatic
Add onions and fry till golden
Add green chilies, ginger and garlic paste and fry till raw smell is gone
Add curry leaves and prawns with turmeric. Turn heat to low
Add ground masala
Fry until prawns are done
Serve with fresh lemon and rice
