Nolac banana bread waffles

Dry Ingredients:
1 ½ cups cake flour
½ corn flour
2Tbsp brown sugar
3tsp baking powder
½ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt

Wet Ingredients:
1 ½ cups Clover Nolac milk
3Tbsp canola oil/ coconut oil
1Tbsp lime juice
1Tbsp vanilla paste
2 very ripe bananas, peeled and pureed
4Tbsp apple sauce
¼ cup honey glazed cashews (Woolworths), roughly chopped
¼ cup roasted /candied pecan nuts, roughly chopped
¼ cup walnuts, roughly chopped

Sliced banana
Woolworths Lactose free chocolate dairy ice cream
Candied cashews
Organic maple syrup

In a large mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients: cake flour, corn flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt .
In a separate mixing bowl combine all the wet ingredients: Nolac milk, oil, lime juice, vanilla, bananas, apple sauce.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Fold on the chopped nuts.
Heat your waffles iron and brush a thin layer of coconut oil over the grid, make sure it’s well-oiled to prevent the batter from sticking.
Fill the grid with the batter until t0 about ¾ full. Close the iron and cook for about 7-10 minutes. Or until its stops steaming and the waffle is firm and golden brown.
Serve with sliced bananas, ice cream ,nuts and a good drizzle of maple syrup
These waffles cook a lot longer than regular waffles because of their high banana content
