Mini Christmas Malva Puddings

Recipe: Anél Potgieter

250 g Moir’s Malva Pudding Mix
100 ml full cream milk
40 ml sunflower oil
1 large egg
ramekins lined with baking paper on the bottom and sides
15 Moirs Glacé Cherries, whole

Sauce
225 ml full cream milk
50 g sauce mix (included in the Moir’s Malva Pudding pack)
10 ml butter

Pudding: Preheat oven to 180 °C. In a bowl, add the milk, oil and egg and mix thoroughly with an electric beater for 40-60 seconds. Add the pudding mix and mix with balloon whisk until smooth. Do not over mix. Add a few cherries to each ramekin and divide mixture into the ramekins. Bake for 15-25 minutes (all depends on the size of you ramekin) or until cooked.
Sauce: Add the milk, sauce mix and butter into a microwaveable dish. Mix well to combine. Heat
sauce in microwave until boiling, prick the puddings with a tooth pic and pour over hot puddings. Let the puddings stand for five minutes. Turn over on serving plate and serve with Moir’s custard.
