Hellmann’s Ultimate Cheeseburger

4 Burger seeded buns
4T Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
600g Beef mince
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Canola oil 3T
250g Bacon, cooked to crisp
Lettuce to serve
Pickles to serve
For the Hellmann’s cheese spread: Combine
6T Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
100g Mature cheddar, finely grated
For the crispy onion rings:
2 onions cut into rings
2 cups milk
240g Cake flour
1T Garlic salt
1T Cajun Spice
Oil for frying
Cut the buns open and spread the Hellmann’s over before toasting in the pan for a few seconds of until well toasted and lightly crisp.
Shape the mince into patties and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper before cooking in the oil for 2 minutes or until the patty is well caramelized, turn over and cook the other side in the same manner. Add some of Hellmann’s cheese spread to the top of the patty then cover with the lid, allowing the cheese to melt over the patty.
Add some extra Hellmann’s to the bottom of the buns, then add some lettuce and the bun with the melted cheese, add some bacon and the onion rings before adding the top of the buns and skewering with the pickle.
To make the onion rings: Soak the onion rings in the milk for a few minutes. Combine the flour, garlic salt, Cajun spice then add the onion rings and coat well in the flour. Prepare the oil for frying, then add the coated onion rings and fry until crisp.
