Fry’s Frito Chilli Burgers with Jeremy Ward

Recipe inspired by Jeremy Ward (Cell-C Sharks Rugby Player)  

Serves 2
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
 
 
Ingredients
2 Big Fry Burgers, defrosted
30ml oil for frying
½ cup bbq sauce 
2 small chillies
1 cup grated vegan cheese
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 bag original Fritos / corn chips
2 fresh buns                                                  
                                    
                                                                                          
Cooking Instructions
Marinate the Big Fry burgers in the BBQ sauce before cooking. 
Heat 30ml of oil on high in a large non-stick pan. Add the marinated Big Fry Burgers and reduce to medium heat. Fry for 9 minutes, turning occasionally. 
Assemble the burgers by adding the Big Fry Patties to the bun and top with chillies, vegan cheese and red onion slices. Top with original Fritos and the top of the bun. Dig in! 
 
Chefs notes
Make sure your Big Fry burger patties are completely defrosted before cooking. 
Feel free to add extra garnish like lettuce, tomato, cucumber, gherkins, or even some fresh avo! A green salad also is always a treat with a delicious and juicy Big Fry Burger!
