Beef Burger

4 Beef Patties
Gherkins

Parmesan shavings / Halloumi cheese
Slice tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Get your lettuce ready. Cut your rolls and slightly toast the inside. Thinly and diagonally slice gherkins. Heat your HP cheese sauce according to instructions on packaging (this is for the beef burger). Get cheese slices for the beef burger or an option of Halloumi cheese (prepare according to packaging instruction) or Parmesan shavings.
Sauce for the beef burger:
Mix a spoon of mayonnaise with a spoon of horseradish, season with salt and pepper and mix well.
Sauce for a vegetarian burger:
Mix a spoon of mayo and half a spoon of Sriracha sauce, season with salt and pepper.
Patties:
Heat up a pan with little oil coating the base of pan.
Pan fry patties to preference or according to packaging instructions.
Assembling the Burger
Take some of the sauce and spread on the bottom and top half of the bun.
Place some salad leaves/lettuce – create a shield.
Place your patty on the bottom half of your bun.
Coat the top part of the patty with some cheese sauce
Place some tomato slice on the patty followed by gherkins and lastly some cheese slice.
Serve with Paprika Potato wedges.
For the vegetarian option apply the same steps in assembling the burger but substitute the cheese slice with either Halloumi or Parmesan shavings, coat the veggie patty with a little bit of the Sriracha sauce/ Sriracha and Mayo.
