Clover brioche French toast

Clover brioche French toast

1 Brioche Loaf
3 large eggs
250 ml Clover Full Fat Milk
250 ml Clover Fresh Cream
Generous grating of fresh Nutmeg
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tbs Maple Syrup
Pinch of Salt

Slice the brioche into nice thick slices(about the thickness of your bread knife). You should get 8 slices or 4 portions. Set that to the side.
For the custard, combine all the ingredients and whisk well.
Put a nonstick on medium heat with a slab of butter. Working with a slice at a time, soak the brioche for about 20 seconds each side and add to your hot pan. Let them cook on each side for about 3-4 minutes until nice and golden brown. Top with a dollop of whipped butter and a generous pour of Maple Syrup.
