Chocolate malva pudding

2 cups cake flour

50ml cocoa powder
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 cup ideal milk
1 cup water
2 Tbsp salted butter, melted
2 Tbsp apricot jam
1 tblsp vanilla essence
2 Tbsp vinegar
360ml castor sugar
2 eggs

For the sauce: combine in a saucepan until chocolate has melted
2 cups ideal milk
1 Tblsp vanilla extract
200g dark chocolate chips
100g salted butter
100ml sugar

Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a 23cm oval baking dish or and shape casserole dish.

In a mixing bowl combine the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
In a saucepan over medium heat combine the water, butter and jam until melted and well combined. Allow to cool.
In a separate bowl cream the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Gradually fold in the cooled butter mixture and all the dry ingredients to form a smooth batter.
Pour into prepared dish and bake for 35-45 minutes until done.
As soon as it comes out the oven prick with a fork and pour over the sauce. Allow to soak before serving with Clover Classic custard.
