
Beef Kofta Recipe
1/2 medium onion
1 (2-inch) piece of ginger, peeled
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
500g lamb mince
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 small pinch red pepper flakes
Vegetable oil
Grate the onion, ginger and garlic and place in a large bowl. Finely chop the parsley and mint and add to the bowl.
Add the lamb mince, salt, and spices and mix to combine. Form into 30 (2-inch balls) and place on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Heat a grill pan lightly coated with vegetable oil on medium-high heat. Add the meatballs in batches. Grill, turning occasionally, until brown all over and cooked through, about 6 minutes.
