We are joined by presenter and businesswoman Zandi Nhlapo, in the loft, to kick off the week. She was best known for being a continuity presenter for SABC1 until 2003, when she left and went on to be a partner in a branding logistics company. 2013 saw her return to our screens as the host of Cooking Gospel, the first ever e.tv cooking show. She has been regarded as one of South Africa's original ‘it’ girls.
Zandi grew up in Soweto, Johannesburg, where she started out her career as a part of The Whizz Kids Dance Group. In the 90’s during her rise in the industry she also did a number of modeling work, appearing in a number of beauty pageants, runway shows. Her first televised presenting gig came about when she was apart of the early CCTV game show, Trio. The industry got to know her after that, and she went on to receive multiple presenter roles after for shows such as Man 2 Man and Eastern Mosaic, among others. Due to her talented presenting skills, she also got to host events such Miss South Africa, South African Music Awards, among other events.
Since her departure from television Zandi has gone on to be the founder and Managing Director of Liquid Image Consulting company, which is a 360 degrees marketing communication agency. She has also started her own hair salon in Johannesburg.
