We catch up with Tumi Morake who is part of this year's Cape Town Funny Festival this winter.
She's fast become one of the most popular comediennes in the country and has appeared in dozens of comedy festivals and television specials. In the loft is Tumi Morake, who is currently participating in the 11th Annual Cape Town Comedy Festival.
Originally from the Free State, Tumi moved to Gauteng where she studied drama at Wits University and worked as a puppeteer, actress and facilitator. She made the jump to comedy in 2005 and went to star in several television productions including City Ses'la, Askies, Erfsondes, Soul Buddyz and even hosted both the SAFTAs and SAMAs in 2014 and 2013 respectively.
