Erin-Lee & Chad Petersen talks about their luxury leather products, The Research Unit.

South African progressive  brand Research Unit (RU) are defining what progressive luxury means and bringing handcrafted quality leather goods to the fore. Erin-lee, founder, Journalist and co-owner of RU started to research exactly what went into the making of high-quality leather and high technology fabric products, looking closely at elements such as, detail, stitching, and finishings. Being dissatisfied with what kind of leather product was made in South Africa, she decided to make her own.

Erin-Lee is a radio presenter for GoodHope FM and her husband Chad is the current MD for RU with a background in design and engineering.
