We are joined by one Africa’s most prominent Hip Hop acts, Cameroon rapper Stanley Enow joins us in the studio, for our cook a long.
He was born in Bamenda, which is the capital of the Northwest Region of Cameroon. He however grew up in Bafoussam, which is the capital of the West Region. Here he completed his primary and his secondary school at the Government Bilingual High School. He would go on to graduate in business journalism from the University of Douala, which is in Douala, the capital of the Littoral Region.
The Cameroon rapper caught the attention of the whole continent back in 2014, when he won Best New Act at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards, after the huge success of his 2013 single ‘Hein Père’. When he won the award, he became the first Cameroonian to achieve being nominated and winning the award. Stanley is a multi-talent in the media industry as he not just a rapper, but also a TV and radio presenter, a voice actor, and he is also the co-owner of record label Motherland Empire.
