Shekhinah Donnell & Kyle Deutsch perform their chart-topping "Back to the Beach"

They met on a singing competition back in 2012 and have been collaborating ever since. Their latest song "Back to the Beach" is one of the biggest songs in South Africa currently and is about escaping the big city. Both of them were raised in Durban and the beach played a big role in their lives growing up.

Kyle is a practicing chiropractor and also represented South Africa in beach soccer. Kyle describes Shekhinah's singing voice as a 40-year-old stuck in a 20-year-old's body. Shekinah writes songs as well and says that it's not easy and that she is a perfectionist, writing several songs before believing one will truly make it.
