Journalist, TV and Radio personality, and entrepreneur Shado Twala is in the loft today.
With a media career that spans over 25 years, Shado Twala has done practically everything there is to do. She started out in the 1980s working for Radio Bop, Radio Metro, P4 and Cape Talk, and then established her own media company called Black Olive Entertainment.
Outside of radio, Shado wrote articles for major publications including the Sunday Times and Two Tone Magazine. Shado then joined the Provincial Government of the Western Cape as the Premier’s Media Liaison and Public Relations Officer until July 2008. During this period, Shado also had extensive experience with both South African and international media practitioners during the Premier’s international visits.
