We are joined by vocalist Sakhile Moleshe in the studio. The singer is the former lead singer of popular South African band Goldfish. Upon departing from the group he recently released his debut solo album which is a 15 track album titled ‘The Final Call’. The album also features great musicians such as Izithunywa Zohlanga as well as Jay Carson, among others. He has described the album as his journey, through having music that defines him as an individual and not performing with a band.
Sakhile got his first taste for the love of music while he was still young, singing in the church choir, then while in high school he started DJ-ing and performing in rock and jazz bands. Not only is Sakhile a vocalist, but he is also a poet and composer, and voice-over artist, with a wide musical range. The Eastern Cape born musician also founded and is the director of his own publishing company called Imilozi Music. He had originally met the Goldfish while studying, which was when he recorded songs such as “Cruising Through” and “Fort Knox”, he would then proceed in joining the band and they would embark on world tours together, becoming internationally known superstars. They originally signed a record deal with a label based in Ibiza, which helped them embark on world tours to places such as New York, Paris, London, and other major cities.
