Penny Heyns
Double Olympic Gold Medalist Penny Heyns joins us for a Rio 2016 chat.
As an international swimmer, Penny Heyns established herself as the world’s greatest female breaststroker of the 20th Century by becoming the only woman in Olympic history to win both the 100 and 200 meter breaststroke events in Atlanta 1996, bronze in Sydney 2000 and by breaking a total of 14 individual world records during her career. After her retirement from professional swimming in 2001, Penny returned to South Africa to join former manager and current business partner Zelda van Vuuren. Today she is in the loft to chat to us about her career and Olympic Games experience, before she joins the SABC family where she will be one of the commentators during the Rio Olympic Games 2016.
