We are joined by talented singer and musician Nelisiwe Sibiya. She is an Afro-maskandi singer that studied Musical Theatre at the Tshwane University of Technology, and was born in KwaZulu Natal, the young singer is taking South Africa by storm.
She discovered her voice at a young age, and now showcases it off to the rest of South Africa on the ever popular weekly soapie Lockdown, where many of her songs can be heard, as she has done a number of soundtracks for it. Drawing the inspiration for her music from her personal life part of what makes her music resonate with many. She is most popularly known for emotional balled ‘Mama Ka Bafana’, which was written just three days after the death of her mother, which is why you can feel the pain through the music.
