Matte Project founder Mathahle Stofile talks to us about woman using the correct skincare products.
Many women are overwhelmed by the large amount of beauty products available on the market and by all the information on the packaging. Joining us in the loft is Mathahle Stofile, a specialist in the art of beauty and body care, as well as the founder of The Matte Project, which aims to help women, specifically black women who have never been adequately catered for by international beauty brands, to correctly identify the proper treatment and products for their bodies and skin, without the hassle of trying each and every product to see the results.
The founder of The Matte Project is Beauty Consultant and former Marie Claire South Africa Beauty Editor Mathahle Stofile. Stofile entered the beauty industry as a model while studying advertising and marketing at the AAA School of Advertising in Cape Town. After graduation, she worked for almost ten years in advertising, business development and sales — at among others, Ogilvy Cape Town and Elle Magazine – before rediscovering the beauty industry at Marie Claire.
