Marie Stander

Fine artist Marie Stander joins us in the loft.

Marie Stander is a fine artist living in Jamestown outside Stellenbosch. The daily lives of the people of this small community have become the inspiration for her large, life-size charcoal portrait work. Every year she and her students from her art school raise funds through their annual charity auction to assist over 30 educational institutions in need, from Jamestown and surrounding areas.

With her is principle Berhnard Williams from Weber Gedenk Primary school in Jamestown.
