Lillian Dube
Afternoon Express interviews renowned South African actress Lillian Dube.
Synonymous with local television is veteran actress Lillian Dube who has been on our screen for over two decades. She's famously known for her role as Sister Bettina Khumalo in the long-running SABC1 drama Soul City, a role which she played for close to 15 years from the series' inception in 1994.
Lilian went on to star in several acclaimed television shows such as Generations, Intersexions and The Lab. She also created, produced and starred in the sitcom Skwizas.
Outside of television, Lilian is a social activist and is an ambassador for SADAG - the South Africa Depression and Anxiety Group. She's also beat breast cancer in 2008.
