Leandi Du Randt

Leandie is currently best known for her role as ‘Ivanka Gouws’ in the KykNet soap Binnelanders. Roles in a drama series she is well known for include 'Mieke' in the renowned Afrikaans Kyknet series 'Getroud met Rugby' and ‘Lea’ in the drama ‘Vlug na Egipte’ and ‘Terug na Egipte’.

Leandie can also be seen in various Afrikaans films such as 'Semi - Soet', 'Klein Karoo ', 'Die Windpomp’, 'Mooirivier', 'Strikdas', 'Hollywood In My Huis' and world renowned author Deon Meyer's action movie 'Jagveld'.

In 2015 Leandie won a Huisgenoot Tempo award for Best Actress in a drama/ sitcom for her role as 'Lea' in the award winning drama series 'Vlug Na Egipte'. In 2016 she won yet another Huisgenoot Tempo award for Best Actress in a Soap for her role as "Ivanka' in the popular soap 'Binnelanders'.

Leandie was runner up in the reality show Strictly Come Dancing season 7 with partner Brandon Eilers le Riche in 2014.
Leandie also published her first self-help book in 2014 in both English 'Comfortable In Your Own Skin', and Afrikaans 'Gemaklik In Jou Eie Lyf' and it has sold over 11 000 copies.

In 2016 Leandie went on a nationwide tour where she performed her motivational talk #NoOneCanBeatYouAtBeingYou
to more than 60 different audiences. Leandie is still continuing her talks at Casino’s and big venues during 2017.
