Fashion designer Kathrin Kidger talks to us about Durban July fashion.

Award winning fashion designer Kathrin Kidger is joining us in the loft today to chat to us about some of her designs she created for the Durban July in previous years and she has put together some stunning Durban July outfits/looks which we will also see on this show.

After completing her training at DUT (Durban University of Technology) and qualifying with the Student of the Year Award and Daphne Strut memorial prize, Kathrin Kidger went on to win the Durban Designers Collection 2004 (New Generation Category). This announced her future in the SA fashion industry by securing a coveted slot in SA Fashion Week.

After a successful 2004, Kathrin Kidger established her label, Reine. It was only after winning the Smirnoff Red Fashion Awards 2004, however that she was able to focus her full attention on her label. Having received "Best Newcomer of the year" as voted by the SA fashion handwork 2005, Kathrin prides herself on creating gorgeous pieces that woman can't help but fall in love with.
