Joe Mafela

TV legend and comedian Joe Mafela visits us in the loft.

Television icon and respected comedian Joe Mafela has been on our screens for the better part of 40 years. From starring in Hollywood productions such as 1964's Zulu alongside Michael Caine, to local productions such as Going Up, Joe has done it all. 

Joe's local television career picked up when he was cast as S'dumo in the Zulu comedy 'Sgudi 'Snaysi which started in 1986 and went on for six seasons ending in 1993. He also starred in the comedy Going Up alongside June van Merch and Rex Garner, and in the television adaptation of the comic book Madam & Eve as Sol.

Joe recently had a guest starring role in the soap opera Generations - The Legacy.
