We meet Singer and Vocal Coach, Jodi Fredericks, as she treats us to a performance. 
 
This Cape Town local is known for her silky-smooth vocals and has performed on numerous stages across the country.
 
Today, she joins us in the loft to chat about her life as a vocal coach and why she decided to specialise as a jazz vocalist.
 
Jodi has made quite a name for herself in the music industry. She made it to the top 6 semi-finals in the South African Jazz Category of the SAMRO Overseas Scholarship Competition.
 
That same year, she won the 2019 Grandwest Open Mic Jazz contestant, which helped her navigate herself in the South Africa music scene.
