It’s Woman’s Day and we discuss all things women, and inspirational women today on the show, and no one is more so than Jo-Ann DeWet, who in started her career in 1995 as a Trainee Manager at McDonald’s in the Western Cape. In the span of 15 years she worked her way from being a Trainee Manager all the way to being their Chief Operations and Supply Chain Officer.
Jo-Ann however is not just a business-oriented woman, she is also all about her family, as her and her husband have 4 kids together, who they have devoted their lives too. He helped her with the raising of the boys while she worked hard in climbing to corporate ladder, as today her responsibilities include RSG; Training; Health and Safety, Risk, Supply Chain, QA and Customer Care. She is also all about women empowerment, as she is a member of both the Global and the APMEA Women Leadership Network.
